PANORAMICA DELLA POSIZIONE

The Senior Sourcing Specialist (1 year contract), reporting to the Sourcing Manager, Woven, oversees end-to-end product development and merchandising execution for assigned woven categories. The role plays a critical part in supply planning, development tracking, cost accuracy, and on-time delivery, ensuring products consistently meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations. Strong experience in woven outerwear sourcing is highly preferred. 

MANSIONI E RESPONSABILITÀ ESSENZIALI

  • Manage end to end product development activities from sampling through bulk sample approval. 
  • ​Coordinate Sourcing activities with assigned suppliers in line with Annual & seasonal supply models 
  • ​Support capacity management and country planning by ensuring accurate allocation plan 
  • ​Manage sample development, color-up execution and development calendar 
  • ​Follow up on costing, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness and timely alignment with buy plans 
  • Execute seasonal buy plans and support allocation management to meet delivery targets under post market 
  • ​Track pre-production milestones and to ensure on-time delivery plan across all assigned styles 
  • ​Communicate product updates, design changes, and development revisions clearly to cross function teams and suppliers  
  • ​Proactively support and partner with OMT to identify, manage, and resolve quality callouts, production bottleneck 
  • ​Work as the key liaison between PMT, supplier, OMT and cross function team 
  • ​Maintain accurate system data and development status throughout the product lifecycle 
  • ​Support continuous improvement related to speed, execution accuracy, and supplier performance 

ESPERIENZA, COMPETENZE E CONOSCENZE

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably working with high end fashion brand 
  • Diploma or above holder in Fashion/Textile or related disciplines 
  • Sound technical knowledge in apparel sourcing and products (Woven knowledge and Outerwear preferred) 
  • Experience working in buying office, garment manufacturing and large trading firms 
  • Experience with USA, Europe and APAC markets 
  • Self-motivated, independent, strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin 
  • Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office 
  • PLM, SAP & Digital system (Browzwear) knowledge would be an advantage 
  • Immediately available is a plus
